Occupation?

I was updating my profile this morning. Like the picture?

It's me in my Happy Place. My Happy Place is on St Simons Island. In the dunes. With Tim and the boys taking pictures and making funny faces. Like this:

So anyway, back to the profile update. I was supposed to choose the industry in which I work and give myself a title.

Now most of you know that years ago I dubbed myself the official Domestic Goddess but what industry does that fall in?

I thought about my daily tasks .... boogie wiping, boo-boo kissing .... I can sing, "Open them, shut them, open them, shut them" and bring all 16 of my students to a state of hypnosis in less than a millisecond. Now that's a talent, eh?

Not to mention "Five Little Monkeys." Now there's a showstopper!

Then there's all the stuff I do here at home. I'm a chauffer, tutor, butcher, baker, candlestick maker, counselor, activities director, maid, professional snuggler, juggler, secretary, schmecretary ...

I think I'll just leave it at Domestic Goddess. I like the way it rolls off the tongue.

Tonight's the big New Year's Eve Breakfast-For-Supper shindig at church. The men are cooking and one of them joked that we'd be having sausage, mustard and light bread. Man food.

Then we were reassured, being the good little Baptists that we all are, that there most certainly would be a large buffet o'Southern delights spread all over the place.

Then tomorrow we're taking a road trip to Waynesboro to visit Noonie and the gang. WoooHoooo!

Happy New Year's Eve, y'all!

Welcome to my World!

I'm not new to the blogging thing. In fact, I love blogging. I just haven't had time to do it in months and months. Kinda like showering. Love it, just don't always have time for it. And shaving my legs. Actually, I don't love doing that but I also don't love it when the hair on my legs gets so long that it hurts to put on my jeans. Hence, the need for a razor.

TMI? Sorry. I do that sometimes.

Anyhoo, welcome to my blog! I'll be using this spot for keeping everybody updated with all the wonderful things going on in my life. Like the kids, laundry, pweee-skooool, family milestones, laundry, the kitchen re-do/re-don't (currently a "do"), health, wealth and happiness and more laundry.

So, hang on to your hats, folks! It's going to be a bumpy ride!!!

Hugs,
